We (Marlene, Leslie, the boys and me) spent all day at a place called “La Maison des Arbres” or “The House of the Trees.” It is a cross between rock climbing and a zip line (neither one of which we have done before) and you are between 20 and 40 feet off the ground. It was amazing and it was also an excellent work out. Below is a view from one of the stations.
Alex LOVED this activity.
David had a good time, too.

Marlene did a terrific job on the course, she knew what she was doing and was very helpful in guiding us through the course.
After this activity we returned to chez Rizo for all of 15 minutes before we departed to Bernard & Audette’s house for dinner which was excellent – lamb cooked on a spit along with the obligatory wines. Below is a photo of two of their children, Jonathon and Celine, both of whom spent 4-6 weeks with us. Another great day.
a combination of rock-climbing and zip-lines – what? ARE YOU CRAZY! I’m scared thinking about it. (but it sounds like it was fun, for you all!).
What a fun course to spend the day! The zipline looked awesome.
Marlene always keeps us busy and emphasizes physical activity on many of our outings. The zip lines were a rigorous endeavor.
