The Kobylkas in Europe

Arrived in London

We had a great flight on British Airways. It lasted about 9 hours and the time flew right by. BA provides a myriad of video and audio programming so it was easy to pass the time. David and Alex thought we were flying first class and you’d think they’d know me better than that by now. This trip we decided to stay in London itself as last visit we stayed closer to the airport. An easy trip via the Tube and a double decker bus put us at our lodgings in about 40 minutes. Streets here are very narrow. The photo below is the street to the home where we’re staying.

We’re staying in a private home we found on VRBO.com which I believe stands for Vacation Rentals By Owner. The home is owned by a woman named Nadia, it is small and cozy and is only minutes to the center of the city via the Tube.

David went to sleep within an hour of our arriving, I was next out, and then Alex. They’re both still sleeping and it is going to take a couple of days for our internal clocks to reset. Tomorrow we’ll see some sites though I’m not sure what exactly we’ll do. The nice think about London is there are many, many things to do and by staying in the city the majority of places are easily accessible.
