We bid a fond farwell to London Tuesday morning. We traveled via bus and Tube to Heathrow, picked up our Ford Fiesta rental car and drove 2.5 hours to Taunton which is due west of London. We met up with Andrew Wallace and his family and spent the remainder of the day with them. I’ve known Andrew for nearly 30 years as we met in January of 1981. It was a great evening. The B&B we’re in about a 15 minute walk from their house. We hooked up this morning and spent the day at an excellent seaside town called Lyme Regis. Then back to the Wallace house to watch football (England versus Slovenia) and it is the most football I’ve ever watched. England won to advance into the next round as did the USA team. I’ll have photos of Andrew and his family posted tomorrow evening. It’s hard to believe that it has been 30 years since Andrew and I met.
